Master of Business Administration (MBA) of University of Pune is a highly reputed course and is considered to be amongst the well-known management programs in the country.
Number of Seats: 120
Duration: 2 years
Fee: Fees decided by Shikshan Shulka Samiti is Rs. 82000 as tuition fees + 5000 Caution money
Hostel Fees
Rs.50,000/- per year inclusive of boarding and lodging + Rs 5000 Caution Money
Eligibility for Admission
Graduate with minimum 45% aggregate (40% for reserved category students) from any recognized Institute / University. Students awaiting results of final year exams, may seek provisional admission, as per instructions from DTE, Maharashtra.
Must have appeared in Common Entrance Test conducted by DTE, Maharashtra.
Admission Process
Admission test is conducted by CET, Directorate of Technical Education, Govt. of Maharashtra, Mumbai. (www.dte.org)
All admissions are conducted based on the list provided by DTE, in the first instance. The remaining seats are filled by giving admission to candidates who have either qualified for the CET or passed MAT, XAT etc. and qualified GD/PI conducted in Pune by AMMI.
For academic year 2009-10 number of seats allotted to different Test Qualified candidates CAT, MAT, XAT, JMET, ATMA, CET, JEE (State conducted tests / University tests)

Objectives
The basic objectives of an MBA Course is
- To provide the country a steady stream of competent young men and women with necessary knowledge, skills, values and attitudes to occupy positions of management and administration in business, industry, public systems and the government.
- To impart the students with latest and relevant knowledge from the field of management theory and practice.
- To provide opportunities to the participants, within and outside institutions, for developing necessary managerial skills, and leadership qualities.
- To impart / develop the right kind of values and attitudes to function effectively in managerial / administrative positions in a fiercely competitive post 2005 is to regime.

Lecture Room

To enhance the effectiveness of presentations in Seminar & lecture by faculty, guest speaker and students, the Institute has good audio- visual facilities, LCD, Projector, TV, VCR, Overhead Projectors. Audio Visual Material on various topics are available in the library. This would facilitate better understanding of subjects by students.
Library
The library houses a large collection of books and periodicals, including the latest publications in Management, International Business, Information Technology, E-Commerce and other topics to students and faculty. Besides academic subjects, literature on Indian Culture, Philosophy, Yoga Meditation are also made available. The students of AIMS are also provided to the British Council Library, Jaikar Library- University of Pun and the Library of Maratha Chamber of Commerce, Industry & Agriculture at Pune.
Gymnasium & Sports Facilities
A well equipped Gymnasium and indoor, outdoor sports facilities are provided for all the students.
Hostel Accommodation
Separate Hostels for boys and girls are provided in campus itself. All outstation students opting for residential accommodation will be provided, the same in the campus itself or close to the campus. Boarding arrangements are also made for hostel students as well as other students.
