Principal's Message

Alard College of Pharmacy (ACP) is a growing Pharmacy Education centre, located in the serene campus near the Rajiv Gandhi Info-tech park, phase II area, Hinjewadi, with an environment distinctly suitable for developing concentration power and learning of students.

At ACP, we believe that imparting knowledge to the students is a process of giving them the skills, vision and wisdom for their overall development, apart from giving them the knowledge and skills in Pharmaceutical Sciences.

We are supported by a team of skilled and dedicated teachers, administrative and supportive staff who are committed to achieving excellence in every activity of the institute. We maintain clarity in our working & possess an excellent infrastructure, well equipped laboratories, libraries, well lit classrooms, seminar room where the students are exposed to thought provoking and inspiring seminars and guest lectures apart from the regular lectures, cultural activities and sports activities, thus, making learning more easy and interesting for the students.

With the Globalization of the Indian pharmaceutical Industry, the Pharma Sector has an important role to play in shaping the country's economic progress. Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharm)- 4 Years

Tuition Fees and other fees

a) Total Fees.Rs.60000/-
b) Caution money Deposit Rs.5000/- ( Refundable )


 To be refunded after successful completion of course or after canceling the
Admission and after deduction of recovery if any.

University Fees:
As prescribed by University of Pune from time to time.

Hostel Fees:
Rs. 50,000/- per year inclusive of boarding and lodging + Rs. 5,000/- caution fee, (refundable).

ELIGIBILITY FOR ADMISSIONS:

First Year (B. Pharm) :
For Maharashtra State(MS) And Outside Maharashtra State (OMS) Candidates:
 

  • The candidate should have passed the higher Secondary Certificate (Std.XII) examination of the Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Pune or equivalent examination with English, Physics, Chemistry, Biology/ Mathematics as the subjects with not less than 50 percent marks (150 out of 300) in the subjects of Physics, Chemistry and Biology/ Mathematics taken together (Maximum of marks obtained in Biology/ Mathematics shall be considered for the purpose of addition.) at the same sitting or any other equivalent qualification accepted by the University.
    (45 percent marks i.e. 135 out of 300 in the subjects of Physics, Chemistry
    and Biology/ Mathematics taken together at the same sitting for Backward
    class candidates)

    AND

    A Non Zero Score card in MHT-CET (For Admission through DTE
    Allotment, as per DTE admission rules)
  • Diploma Holders who have passed the Diploma course in Pharmacy with a minimum of 50% marks and medium of instruction as English from any approved Diploma institute as per DTE admission rules.

Second Year (B Pharm) :

For Maharashtra State(MS) And Outside Maharashtra State (OMS) Candidates:

  • The Candidate should have passed the Diploma course in first class ( Minimum 60% marks) as per DTE admission rules.

ADMISSION PROCEDURE :
As per Admission rules of DTE, Maharashtra.

ELIGIBILITY & ENROLMENT IN UNIVERSITY

The students admitted to first year course are required to apply in the prescribed form to the University for Grant of eligibility along with prescribed fees by the University before the due date. The eligibility fees and the last date for submission of the eligibility forms in the college office shall be notified in due course.Students seeking transfer for second year of the degree course are also required to obtain eligibility from the University if they have passed the previous examination from other university. The prescribed forms for eligibility shall be available in the college office.All the admissions made to first year/ second year course shall be provisional and will be subsequently confirmed only on grant of eligibility by the University of Pune. The college authorities shall not be responsible for non grant of eligibility by the University. The student provisionally admitted if declared ineligible by the University, his/her admission will be cancelled immediately and fees paid by him/her shall not be refunded.

Methodology : Theory, Practical, Audio Visual Sesions, Practical Training (Industry), Seminars are the tools used for imparting knowledge to the students. Three Sessional Exams are conducted by college and final Exam is Conducted by the University of Pune.

ADMISSION :

Student Intake: B. Pharmacy- 60 students

Candidates are advised to follow rules of Admission to First Year Degree in Pharmacy and rules for Direct Admission to Second Year of Degree course in Pharmacy as published by Director of Technical Education M.S.(DTE-MS) from time to time.

Prospectus and application forms
Prospectus and Application form for admission will be available in the office on payment of Rs.1000/- (Additional Rs 100/- for Postal Charges ) payable in cash or by demand draft in favour of Alard College of Pharmacy.

DOCUMENTS TO BE SUBMITTED :

All applications should be accompanied by the attested copies of the following documents :

  1. Certificate of passing of H.S.C. or Equivalent. Examination with statement of marks.
     
  2. Certificate of passing of the qualifying examination and the statement of marks.
     
  3. Certificate of Indian nationality issued by a competent authority or by a revenue office not below the rank of Tahsildar.
     
  4. Schools/Institute Leaving Certificate, in original, of the last Institute attended.
     
  5. Certificate of date of birth if the date of birth is not mentioned in the school or institute leaving certificate.
     
  6. Father's/mother's domicile certificate if candidate has not appeared and passed S.S.C Examination and studies two preceding academic years from school located in Maharashtra.
     
  7. Domicile certificate in respect of father/mother of the candidate.
     
  8. If there is a gap between passing of his or her qualifying examination and year of admission, the candidate shall submit an affidavit on a stamped paper stating the factual position
     

Additional Documents Required For Candidates Belonging to Backward Classes :

  1. Caste Validity : Certificate to support his claim as backward class candidate in specified form and from specified authority.
  2. Certificate issued by the competent authority stating that the candidates parents do not belong to creamy layer, as per relevant orders of the Government of Maharashtra. (as applicable)
     

Note:
* Copies of the certificates attached to the application form should be attested by the Principal of the School/Institute or a Gazetted officer or special Executive Magistrate. Original certificates will have to be produced at the time of scrutiny of application prior to admission.

* No duplicate leaving certificate will be accepted.

RESERVATION OF SEATS
For various categories as per University rules.

Note:-
i) Course fees will be accepted in the form of only Demand Draft drawn in Favour of "Alard College of Pharmacy" payable at Pune.
ii) Hostel Fees will be accepted in the form of Demand Draft only drawn in Favour of "Takshashila Hostel" payable at pune

Cancellation of Admission:

  1. A Candidate who has been provisionally admitted through CAP may cancel admission by submitting application in duplicate and may request for refund of fees
     
  2. It is made clear that such application for cancellation will be Considered if and only if the admission taken provisionally through CAP by paying prescribed Tuition fees and by submitting all necessary original documents.
     

Refund of Tuition Fees after Cancellation of Admission:

  1. Refund of fees of candidate admitted through CAP will be as per rules of
    DTE
     
  2. For Candidates admitted under minority/management quota, refund of fees
    as given below
    a) Up to 20 days from date of admission, 20% of total fees will be deducted
    as cancellation charges and balance will be refunded.
    b) After 20 days from the date of admission, no refund will be done for all
    candidates who cancel admission after the out off date of admission, no
    refund of fees will be done.
     

For Admission through DTE Allotment: As per DTE rules
For Institute Level Admissions:
The refund will be as follows:
a) If cancelled within 10 days of admission - 20% deduction
b) If cancelled within 20 days of admission - 50% deduction
c) If cancelled after 20 days of admission - 100% deduction.

Modern well illuminated and ventilated classrooms equipped with latest teaching aids for lecture delivery. All students have access to LCD and OHB for presentations.

 
 
     
 

Seminar Hall
Acoustically and aesthetically well designed, the Seminar Hall is equipped with latest audio and video systems for seminars and guest lectures.

 
     
 

Computer Lab
State-of-the-art computer laboratory is equipped with latest versions of branded software and hardware with Pentium 4 processors, LAN connected with internet facilities throughout the day. The campus also has Wi- Fi facility.

 
 
     
 

Library
The library has a rich collection of text books, periodicals and journals of national and international reputes with a spacious reading hall. The students are also provided access to the British Council Library.

 
     
 

Laboratory
Respective department stores are within the laboratories. The stores keep adequate stock of glassware, reagents, solvents and specimen etc required for daily practical experiments. The laboratories are managed by trained laboratory assistants. Well equipped with all instruments and equipments required for carrying out practicals.

 
 
     
 

Hostel
To house outstation students, there's a separate hostel for boys and girls. Hostel rooms are spacious, well furnished and duly maintained. The in-house Canteen caters to the culinary needs of students.

 
     
 

Canteen
Snacks, tea and meals are provided in the campus canteen for hostel students as well as other students. Nutritious and hygienic food is served at canteen to maintain good health of the students.

 
     
 

Gymnasium and sports facilities :
Gymnasium and indoor- outdoor sports facilities are provided for all students. A well-maintained playground is provided for outdoor games to keep the students physically fit and to refresh their minds.
